1. Why do you want to work at P.S.205?
“205 is one of the best schools in the district.It is a great community with supportive staff members and families.”
2. What would you do if a lesson didn’t work?
“I would take time to reflect and think of a different approach that would work more effectively.”
3. What would you do to a child who always misbehaves?
“I will speak to the child and the child’s parents. I will set up a behavioral goal chart for that child. I will see what helps the student to be on his/her best behavior.”
4. Why did you become a teacher?
“I love children and seeing each child blossom in all aspects – especially academically and socially.It brings great joy to see the growth in each child.”
5. Do you like being a teacher?
“I love being a teacher.Seeing the smile on each of my students face brings me great joy.Seeing their hard work and their academic growth makes me feel proud.”
6. What is the best thing about being a teacher?
“The best thing about being a teacher is receiving all the love, the hugs, the letters, the cards and pictures the children give me. It warms my heart.”

1. Why do you want to work at P.S.205?
“I want to work at P.S.205 because it’s a great learning environment.As a school,we offer so many great programs for our students.Inaddition, work with great students and people.”
2. What would you do if a lesson didn’t work?
“I would reassess the lesson. First I would figure out what was successful and what was unsuccessful about the lesson. Then I would try a different method of teaching. I would also talk to other teachers to get a new idea.”

3. What would you do to a child who always misbehaves?
“I would speak to the student in private. Sometimes students misbehave because they have a personal problem. I try to help them as much as possible.”

4. Why did you become a teacher?
“I became a teacher because it’s the most rewarding profession on a daily basis.”

5. Do you like being a teacher?
“Yes, I love being a teacher .I couldn’t imagine doing anything else for a living.”

6. What is the best thing about being a teacher?
“The best thing a teacher is watching my students grow. I love when my students can work independently after a concept has been taught.”
